The trip to East Coast Part II

On the second day, we woke up quite late since I was tired out from all the driving the day before. Anyway, after getting lost (I need a GPS!) for a bit, we finished our job and drove back to KL. Yeah, boring. And my MP3s have repeated themselves a few times.

This toilet really reflected my mood for that morning

On the way back, I decided to stop and take all the photos I missed
[1] This is the beach/waterfront in Terengganu, I think
[2] Maya Karin dressed differently for the Celcom for this state
[3] Towards the evening, the waves were quite strong
[4] Adn when I pointed my camera to the far distance.......rain!

[1] I wanted this photo for a long time.

[4] Traffic jam. Luckily, we're going on the other lane

I am still so tempted to light up my Satria like that

The trip to East Coast Part I

When it comes to driving to the East Coast, the worst thing that could ever happen to you would be boredom. Yes, really. You'd be stuck on the car seat for at least eight hours on a long stretch of road usually blocked by other vehicles who thinks that it is alright to drive way below the speed limit. And, since the van has a faulty air-con, we had to wound down the windows all the way and luckily, the evening air were was cooling. If those are not your problems, you'd have to be alert for potential roadkills like cows, chickens and motorcyclists since the road were usually dark. But what really gets me was just the long driving hours. Anyway, reaching there on time was never the plan because of the traffic conditions above.

Still, when we arrived, we were quite disheartened. Having driven all the way, the installation job encountered several problems. So, we have no choice but to continue onwards to Terengganu and stay the night there. This was because on a Friday, both places under the state of Terengganu, were like Sundays; no one worked.

My tech highlighted me about this unusual roadblock.
There is a goat following the cows crossing the road

See the problem here? Yep, no power outlet and not
only that, the most updated action was to demolish
the wall on the right. We didn't weren't told that. And
not only that, the Telekom lines were not commissioned
until Sunday. Yeah, we won't be around to do those.

After walking about, I found this spot, which I think is
Chinatown or something in Terengganu. Onwards, its
a bit narrow, and some shoplots reminds me of Melaka

Thanks to the banana inside me, I could only know how
to order mee-hoon, a big glass of fresh orange and watermelon

The night before the trip

While I was packing for the trip to Terengganu, the girls were playing around. It was OK until Kaelynn started to take off her clothes.........

Kristine being a Doctor with her Weenie as the patient

Yeah, you can imagine the ruckus at that time

Bread and Butter

We work with blood and sweat for some bread and butter
But don't put them in the middle la

An evening with the girls

Just came back last night and wife was with both the girls. I guess it was Kaelynn's first time venturing out of the house. And she was very excited and happy. All through the evening, she was walking about, looking at things and also doing a bit of excercise. When it was time to go indoors, she was reluctant and cried for a few hours. Still, I am sure she is looking forward to tomorrow.

Kaelynn moving the stools all over the place and blocking her
sister's bicycle path

I think its time to fatten up Krsitine in case she really wants to escape

Kristine started to sing Barney songs

Which by now, the whole neighbourhood have heard it note for note

Tired Drifting

With so much work, its taking a toll on me. And I can't pay much attention to a lot of things.

Just this morning, about 25 past seven, I was already on the Shah Alam Highway towards the NKVE. And usually, I would take the contra flow route. Nothing much happened except towards the end of the flow where you need to swerve back to your original lane.

My mind must have gone or blanked out for a few seconds. Its not like where you blank out and look like a zombie but more like “my-mind-went-running-out-of-the-door-naked-and-forgot-how-to-come-back” blank. The all the cars have slowed down to go back to the flow except me. Running on 60-odd km/h and with the Kenari about twenty feet from the van, I stepped on the brakes and that's it. It locked the van's wheels while I sat there madly staring and calculating how many milliseconds more before I hit the Kenari's rear. But at the same time, my reflex went nuts and my past defensive driving training kicked in (gosh!). So, my hands began to take control of the steering to steer the van away from trying to avoid the Kenari. So, in less than four seconds, the van went from left to right, nearly went into the lane of another oncoming car and then swerved back.

I guess I am tired

Never before have I lost my mind like that. And the best thing, I could not remember what happened seconds before the incident. Even the Hitz.fm's Gotch prank calls were not on yet (but when it came on, they made the guy put on hold for minutes was quite funny)

Maybe it was last night as I came back late after our company's discussion and staff review. The same thing happend except that I was drinking a bottle of orange juice.

I am tired

I think I am. All the past travelling, working non-stop and so much commitment to both family and friends have really made me go nuts.

I am really tired.

Can I rest now? Can I? Huh? Huh? No I can't. Although its almost the end of 2007, there are still more work to do. More outstation trips. More projects. Haih.

I am dead

The van served from left, then right out to the other lane
and back again. Thank goodness, I did not hit anything
.

[Update: The next day]

OK, took a photo this morning and I was surprised that the tire tracks were about 15 feet long! gosh!

Goodbye, Eappen

While I was in Johore, I have received bad news that one of the technicians in my ex-company has passed away, just a day after he took MC (Medical Leave). Although I do not know him much but we did some service calls together and I was the one who drove him to Assunta Hospital when he sort of collapsed due to breathing difficulties. Luckily, both of us had credit cards at that time or he would have suffered more than just blue lips. Anyway, that was more than ten years ago when he joined us when the Malaysian economy was taking a downturn.

I remember him as the only technician with a large beard. At one time, I think he shaved it off but it looked so weird. Anyway, I can tell that he had a lot of health problems. Still, at that time, whatever help we could get to clear the daily service calls, we were thankful for that. When he first joined us, he was a very determined fellow and angry who spoke his mind. But I think due to his past history, he could not accept his downgraded role as a service technician, falling down from a Management role. And by the time I resigned, he sort of mellowed, smiled more and followed the rules.

Still, when I think back, I sort of pity him. For he is among a group of seniors whom the department has regarded them as “dinosaurs” when the new Toshiba PABX came into the market after the Millennium. The new system requires people with computer skills especially in the Networking area. And unfortunately, for these seniors, the department has concluded that it is too costly and time consuming to retrain them. And so, they were “encouraged” to leave the company. I have heard of this story for a long time and even his widow confirmed it. She mentioned that although he was not trained to service the PABX, he was ordered to and when he did, there were repercussions.

Anyway, he is gone now, and hopefully, to a better place. His widow mentioned that he had chest pains for the past few days. And on that fateful night, within an hour of her driving him to the Hospital, the Doctors have pronounced that his heart had stopped beating. I felt sad because I did not get to see him for the last time as I was late by ten minutes as I got lost searching for his house due to the wrong information given. Anyway, goodbye, Eappen, sorry for anything I did that might have offended you in the past. And you always greet me with a smile.

And as I drove home, I helped a lady (with five children) changed her tyres in a busy petrol station where no one bothered to help, not even the taxi drive who parked next to her. Nor other taxi drivers filling up their cars a few feet away. Strange thing was, I did not feel any anger towards them, nor the sense of happiness when she drove away after thanking me profusely.

I just felt numb.

Maybe its because I could not say anything to his widow or maybe I just did not get the chance to see and say goodbye to him for the last time.

The trip down South Part II

The next morning, we had about half an hour left before the Hotel's Breakfast Buffet closes (due to someone sleeping later than me) and so, we continued our work of correcting all the network points. Although we offered to do it for free, the customer insists on paying us for it since the local cabling guys have gone. But anyway, I still have two more visits to complete and one of them was at the customer's branch office in PTP. With an hour's drive, we got to know each other more and not only that, we found that we had several similarities. Anyway, by the time we reached back to the main office, was Boss has finished his job and we're on our way to the next destination: Lunch.

But before we start our journey back to KL, we detoured to Johore BBahru's infamous Holiday Plaza for some DVDs (since our customer told us that it only costs him RM5.00 per disk.) Maybe I should have been to Singapore more often but being there at the Plaza, with so many stalls catering from game consoles to PC games to bags to clothes to car accessories, I almost went overboard on shopping spree. Luckily, my Boss pulled me back to the original mission. Looking for DVDs there is not easy because of the active raiding by the authorities. They still man the stalls but their operation is now very different. As soon as you walk past them, they will call out to you and also hand you their business cards. Once you're interested, they will open a small door behind the stalls. Depending on which stall you enter, you can either express your wish to purchase DVDs or watch “films” in the mini cinema behind those doors. Once you confirm you wish to buy, they will lead you via a runner to their actual shop which is located at the top of the shopping complex and after some secret knocks, you're in. The discs are lines up wall to wall inside the shops and you can choose and test to your heart's content. I did not take any pictures since I noticed that have placed CCTVs both inside and outside the shop. Anyway, at this shop, it costs us RM6.00 per disc. But still, this is way cheaper than we we could get in KL. Some of the titles I got was:

1)Transformers
2)Winnie the Pooh 4 in 1
3)Barney's Colour Live Concert
4)Star Wars Ep IV
5)Star Wars Ep II
6)Devilman (CGI Anime)
7)S.H.E.'s Encore
8)Paprika (Anime)
9)Frank Miller's 300
10)Borat
11) A Scanner Darkly (animation)
12)Afro Samurai (Anime)
13)Castle in the Sky (anime)

With that much, I was still tempted to get more such as the whole Star Wars series, the Lord of the Rings and more. But I had to stop there since I came to my senses and realised that I still had not even completed one disc from my last trip to Prai where Loctor brought me to a few DVD shops. By the time we finished, it was time to head back to KL since it was already too late to visit the Melaka customer. I should have been more assertive on this because my Boss does not realise the urgency of this customer. We should have gone on the first day, though. And I could not go on Monday as there were more pressing matter to look into before our three day trip up Northeast starting Tuesday. Sigh

Nothing much on the way home except this time I got to sit at the back and slept most of the way home. The route towards Kepong (and/to Batu Caves) was jammed for about more than 8 kilometres. Luckily we took the other route and did not think much about it until later, which I think could be some Police roadblocks. I mean, on a Saturday night, it was too late to go to Selayang Mall, the route to Genting Highlands was clear and so was Batu Caves. Weird.

The same view, but during the day.
Note to self: Bring swimming trunks
They scoop up the waste paper and put into those green compactors
This is the end result

For lunch, we stopped by a Bak Kut teh stall. This guy was frying stuff on a claypot
The delicious Bak Kut Teh
And the soup is clear, much to my surprise
Yep, me and my garlic again

Trip down South Part I

So, I am going down South again. Or more specifically, WE are going down South again. This time, there are four sites to visit. One in Melaka, one in PTP (Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas), one in the heart of Johore Bahru and another nearby. The sequence of which customer to visit first was actually arranged en route to the main object to this trip: To install a Toshiba PABX.

So, we set off about eleven in the morning and by the time we reached our first customer, it was in the afternoon. With that over, we continued onwards to the second customer, who is located in the heart of the city. Since we were required to install a Toshiba system there, we had only about less than a day's work cut out for us. After unloading all the tools and the PABX, we started work straight away. Our main object is to just install the Toshiba PABX since the cabling has already been done. Initially, the customer did invite us to to the cabling but due to logistics and labour issues, we could not commit. Therefore, the customer had no choice but to get a local cabling company to do the job. But in the end, we ended up not only installing the PABX but also rectifying the cabling contractor's errors on all phone and network points. If it wasn't for that, we could have finished the job at ten at night instead of one thirty in the morning.

At eight in the evening, we're nearly there. We even helped
in setting up all the LAN although the ADSL was a 2Mb
line, I did not get the chance to surf the Internet. Hee hee

Dinner was across the road, and although the
meals were small, they weer quite delicious.
But I was more interested in their bottled
drink as its a clear indication that it has
been recycled too many times

At 11th floor, there is a beautiful swimming pool
and this is the night view from the Hotel room

At one in the morning, we have finished and as a reward,
I get to order this Rm1.90 Mango Ice Shaving.
Yeah, tasted like shit. Never ever put processed
coconut chunks and mix it into the ice. This is a
typical franchise drink where, I guess, you just
pour stuff from a packet and mix it with the ice

Stupid day

Today is a very challenging day for me. It made me lose my temper and also ignore the beautiful girls in front of me. Well, then again, I usually ignore a lot of people anyway.

It started when I got out of the van. The calls were coming to my Mobile Phone non stop. As soon as I answer one, there is another call in the queue. And each call lasts me an average of five minutes. I had to switch from ear to ear, wipe off the sweat and handle with the headaches (really). So, for forty minutes or so, I was rooted to the spot and I was quite pissed because I AM paying for the parking which costs me RM2.50 per hour. And I still have not even done anything nor walked into the customer's place.

After that, I stomped all the way to the customer's office with the phone ringing all the way. And then there is the customer in Berjaya Times Square, where they have a lot of beautiful women (because it was a beauty centre) and I snapped when they asked me about my name, my company etc. before I can get to the actual customer. I really hate this when the receptionist asks a lot of these stupid questions. And because my PDA is dead (for more than a month now), I could not find the local number for one of the supplier's contact, I had to use my mobile phone to call International only to have his voice message come on. Twice. After that, only then did the beautiful customer surfed the website for the number since my office girl was on her lunch break, stupid Telekom does not have thier number as well.

And then the stupid flaps in the Notebook bag got stuck into one of the zippers. By the time I got it free, the zip broke. And I have to get a new Notebook bag or else everything will fall out.

Damn, this is a bad day.

Usually, this phone lasts me two days on a single charge
And just after a few hour's use........

Isolinear Reader

Remember the calculator I got? The idea came while I was on one of those outstation trips. I mean, sure you have Optical Isolinear Chips for 2.15 kiloquads of data storage. And not only are they easily corrupted, they are very common for handheld devices such as PADDs and Tricorders. So, how can you tell if the Isolinear Chip is faulty?

You need an Isolinear Chip scanner, of course! Ha ha ha ha ha!

This is a suggested mock-up done in software
Things might change when I have the TIME to
really design the electronics. It will have some
LED sequence and sound (or maybe not)

So punny

I just love this ad. Its so funny
Reminds me of some cartoon when the scientist admonish
the Hero for "Taking the piss out of urine"

Goma Salmon Don @ Sakae Sushi

This is the Goma Salmon Don (RM10.90)
Basically, its fresh salmon on top of sushi rice or something
I don't care what it is. I just love it and if money was not a
problem, i would like to have it everyday. With wasabi too
Damn. Its delicious. I just love Donburi stuff. Last time, it was
just Chicken Satsu Don or something like that. I didn't know this
existed until we went to Sakae Sushi and ordered the dishes by
ourselves.

Trip to Melaka

So, there was an emergency trip to Melaka as we were needed to install two extra telephones. There was nothing much to post about but this is a sign for things to come as my tentative schedule said I will be in Johor on Monday till Tuesday and then on Wednesday, I will have to be in Terengganu and lastly, in Kuantan.

This means more driving from South to North and will be very tiring for me. I mean, driving up to Terengganu from Johor in one night is going to make me go nuts. Not even a 5GB worth is MP3 will satisfy me....... (As if I have 5 GB worth of MP3 and SD cards)

This is how the telephone looked like at the Guardhouse
as it was exposed to the environment. Nice shades of grey

Spooning around

Due to the high incident rate of customers cutting their lips,
the Plastic Spoon Manufacturers for Nasi Lemak Association
have therefore come up with an alternative design for the
plastic spoon. Although the new design has solved the initial
problem, many customers found it very difficult to use the
handles to dig their ears, scrape for fluff in their belly
button or even scratch their backs

Goodbye to you

Remember the NEC system we dismantled on the eve of Hari Raya? Well, we just returned after the customer has finished their week long holiday. Nothing much for us to do but to cart away the system and all of its accessories. Back then, in 1984, this must have cost them a fortune.

What you're seeing here is the front panel of the NEC's power system
Lots of switches, so I salvaged this

The NEC system at the back of the van

This is the last sight I'll ever see of that great mighty NEC.
These people have converted our old office to a scrap shop
For 59Kg, we got RM53. Later, we took their almost bulging
batteries and they gave us RM87 in return. Huh?
(So now, I will scout for more batteries and aluminium. Ha ha ha)

But I saved one circuit card as it has some EPROMS
I am interested in experimenting

Trinkets

So, being outstation, it is now a habit for me to seek out small shops selling toys whenever I can. And so, I spotted more Chinese made guns. For RM10.00, it was quite expensive because in Kuantan, the toy gun I had was bigger, had more electronic lights & sound and with a laser pointer too. But anyway, since I was here....... heh heh heh.
Anyway, the reason why I got these guns were the fact that the laser module that comes with the toy is not properly secured. I can just open the black enclosure and take out the module. This was much easier than cutting open those stupid metallic casings and damaging the laser module in the process. The fact that the Chinese has been able to put these into toys (and disregarding eye safety) means the module is quite cheap. Now, I just hope that the green laser would follow the same way in a few years time.

I got this trinket for Kristine for RM5.90. Its solar power, which I think
is the same technology as my Casio's Pro Trek. You just expose the thing
to some bright light (or just sunlight) and the clear solar cell would start to
produce enough power for the LCD to blink on and off. Amazing.

This is the RM10.00 gun. The pellets are carp and its going straight
to the bun anyway.

See? I just uncrew the front cap and out pops the laser module.

Going to Langkawi

OK, this is going to be one trip which I will try to forget (Ha ha). Heck, I don't even know where to start, so I'll just write it in chronological order.

25102007 1930
Rushed back from work. Set phone alarm to go off at 2230 and went straight to bed

25102007 2225
Kristine and Kaelynn jumped about on the bed, woke me up. Set phone alarm to 2330

25102007 2315
Wife called from Nilai, away on a course. Let her speak with Kristine. Set phone alarm to 0030.

26102007 0001
Kristine still not sleeping so my Mom dealt with her. Set phone alarm to.... ah, forget it. Went for a shower and ate dinner. Watched Astro's conclusion on “From Dusk till Dawn” starring George Clooney and Tarantino. What the fuck, it was heavily censored. Must get DVD as haven't even seen the beginning. Continued with Discovery Channel about Explosive orces (I.e. Bombs)

26102007 0240
Packed my stuff and drove to Boss's rendezvous point. Boss used his 4x4 and we started the journey. Halfway after Penang, I became the driver.

26102007 0835
Reached Kuala Kedah jetty. Boss bought tickets for 0930 ferry. Arranged our stuff, had some light breakfast consisting noodles and ice coffee.

26102007 1006
Ferry was packed. No aircon. Very bad waves. Feeling nauseous. Shouldn't have eaten breakfast......

26102007 1112
Arrived at jetty and took taxi to customer's place. Completed the work and also made sure the problem does not happen again. Did extra repair work (not in our job scope) to solve another of their problems.

26102007 1350
Bought tickets for 1430 ferry. Went looksee at the Duty Free. Realised the prices are a rip-off. RM149 for a 1Gb microSD when I got mine for RM79 (if I went to computerwar.com.my, it could be much cheaper). Stopped ogling at the Nokia 5700 and took more photos. Since we're still early, I decided to leave my stuff on the seat and took more photos. Realised it was not my seasickness but the jetty is actually floating about. Came back in, a fat man took my seat and the seat next to him was available only for anorexics. Instead of arguing, went to the back only to be cornered by three fat men.

26102007 1630
About to drive to Alor Setar customer when lady driver parked next to us and scratched her own car. Finished our job and left for KL by 2030.

26102007 2150
Stopped by Bkt Tambun for dinner. Total cost for some Tofu soup, 2 plates of fried squid and one plate of la-la, accompanied with four plates of rice (we did not eat lunch) and chinese tea: RM27.50

26102007 2213
After nice dinner, fell asleep while Boss drove. He will wake me up when he is tired but he never did. Driving his 4x4 is awesome, man. Reached Petaling Jaya by 0132. Transferred my stuff to the van and drove home with volume up on Enigma's Mea Culpa and keep rewinding on The Fray's Look after you (dem sad when played on the ending of Ghost Whisperer's episode, Deja Boo. Made the song more emotional for me)

26102007 0215
Reached home. Took more photos and prepared this blog to upload.

26102007 0430
Can't sleep. Shouldn't have drank the Chinese Tea. I always forget this fact.

26102007 0511
Still can't sleep.

26102007 0628
Body's internal alarm woke me up before phone alarm. Too tired. Set phone alarm to 0730

26102007 0901
Shit. Late for work.....

[1] This was taken at three in the morning. I wanted to take a picture of myself lying on the road but it was wet with rain.
[2] The breakfast that helped with my seasickness. But the soup was great. For just RM3.00, it was garlic soup.
[3] Little boy in front playing with the Nokia 5300. The more I look at it, the more I wanted a Nokia 5700 or a Sony Ericsson 850i. But nah, I still cannot see any reason for changing my Sony Ericsson T630 yet. By if I can find them second hand.....
[4] We went all the way just for this. Later on, to make our trip more meaningful, we did some system programming, looked into their alarm sensor problem (even though it was out of our job scope) and re-established customer relations.
[5] This is one car you do not see outside Langkawi. Yet. Wanted to go for a test drive but the rain dampened our moods. OK, but because I did not have the guts to go ask the Salesperson.

[1] This is a Disney Smarties sweet dispenser. What the hell were the toy designer thinking?
[2] An Abandoned project. What a waste
[3] We had to make a detour as the main bridge is under construction/repair/renovation/whatever
[4] Waiting in line for ferry tickets.
[5] Special sign Engerlish people. But read the Malay closely, “Passage for tourists who are not citizens of Langkawi” (maybe my Malay sucks)

[1] These things hold up the floating jetty
[2] OK, so the sky does not look so good. This means choppy water.........
[3] While everyone was boarding in the front.........
[4] Mudfish and crabs
[5] All went well until a lady swerved too close to our 4x4's tough rear bumper. Later, she reversed and re-parked her car and the result was that the car came even closer.....

[1] See the deep scratches? The one near the door, I think she had damaged it before.
[2] In English, it is the Family Kitchen Restaurant. Now pronounce the three letter word....
[3] Took this under low light conditions by resting the camera on my Boss's 4x4 AFTER he stopped shaking the car (to make sure there are enough space for more fuel)
[4] The belacan sauce on the top right was very fresh, my Boss said. I did not care until I dipped the deep fried squid. Boy, it was delicious!
[5] No crab this time was we're running out of time. Later on, we order a second plate of deep fried squid and extra rice. Oh, yeah, I finished the whole plate of garlic too. Ha ha ha ha ha

Digital Photography

By now, almost everyone who has a camera, it would be a digital camera. And by now, most of us would not have heard about film cameras anymore. Even if we did have one, we would not use it as much as we like due to costs and problems getting the picture to com eout. Welcome to the Digital Age.

More than ten years ago, having a Digital camera was like being the first sucker to buy a version 1.0 product. Yes, you have the latest expensive novelty gadget And the quality really sucked. Getting the pictures into the computer was even worse. And also, at that time, photo paper trickled warily into the market. Let's not even mention memory cards and the format war that nearly broke out.

Back then having a film camera has its own advantages. You could take thirty six pictures in blind faith, and hope one of them would come out well. Only to be disappointed three days later when the laughing technician handed the thick envelope back to you. And when you're bored, you could take out the brownish negatives and try to imagine the “actual colours” of the image that might come out. And when you're done, you just put them back into the thick negative book/folder/shoe box.

With a Digital Camera, you could shoot as much as you want depending on your memory card capacity (and battery power) and still get to piss the volunteer on the spot who took blurred/cropped pictures of you and your smiling friends. Not only that, you also get to shout embarrassing instructions that retard for not knowing how to use a digital camera. But if you had a film camera back then, a few days later, you know that volunteer has the last laugh. Especially if you're a tourist and forgot to remove the lens cap too.

But above all, the most important thing about having a film camera actually teaches you about photography. Pretty soon, with the tremendous amount of money spent buying films and what nots, you start to learn very quickly from your errors such as removing the lens cap, parallax error in close ups, ASA rating and most important of all, the types of films you need to use. And when you're serious about photography, then you would go deeper into subjects like apertures, f-stops, compositions and so on.

And some would even go into processing their own negatives and developing their own photos. And with some imaginative darkroom techniques, the pictures would be amazing. But now, there are reports that some are starting to go back films. They claimed that the image from a film has a richer (and a slight 3D effect) compared to the flatness of a digital image. And in time, those who started off with digital cameras would not have any good photography skills or discipline. Everyone would be like me, a point & shoot guy, who just take photos without much thought about composition, “lines”, angles, etc. Ha ha ha ha.

But here and now, like it or hate it, the Digital camera has really arrived. And it brought with it the some of the biggest advantage that no one can ignore: The ability and the ease to produce an image within the shortest time and with minimal cost and in a format that can be viewed all around the World instantly. Some camera manufacturers went with consumer demands and as a result, phased out film cameras. Even camera shops invested in digital printers. By now, a digital camera is so common, it has been the norm for mobile phones as well. And digital cameras have improved so much that they offered feature unheard of compared to film cameras such as low light photography, face/smile recognition, image stabilisation, and with more to come. In effect, a moron like me can now take as much good quality pictures as possible and then download it to my Notebook where I can select the best shot, edit it with some software and then upload it onto my Blog. And if I feel like it, I can pay some jerk RM5.00 to take the memory card from my hands, slot it into their computer, print the picture out and throw it to my face. All within less than 20 minutes or so.

This team took some pictures of a shophouse and edit it on the spot. And
if the owner does not like it, they can then re-shoot, edit it and even put
some effects there and then. This saves time as they do not need to go back

From flat to worse

Do you know what is worse than an already flat flat tire?

When it starts to rain
You can't put the jack under the van
You're late for work
The @&#% spare is under the van and it takes ages to take it out

I hate this. I really really hate this

Later on, this deep gash shows the tire needs to be replaced

The water bottles

I have a habit of only saving the coins when I feel like it. And when it is full, I have a problem of looking for a container since the banks are usually closed when I am free. So, this time, I found a big container (was inspired from a movie about two conman using it to collect money but in the end, used the money not for themselves but for a children baseball team. I forgot the movie). Then, we went to Econsave and I found this miniaturised version and bought it for RM5.90.

I know there is a joke but I just can't think of a punchline right now

Girls on Bike

Be confident and brave.

Then you won't be so afraid

We will be right behind you and catch you when you fall

So, go.

Go an explore the World and feel it.

And when you're scared, Mommy and Daddy would be here

Waiting for you

Wiping that dirt

And kissing that wounded knee

Kaelynn is not so afraid of the bicycle anymore but
we're more afraid of her falling backwards.
