Where is that monkey?

Where is that monkey?
I know I am sick but this time, in reality, I am physically sick. Maybe its the heat where I only drank a cup of water a day. Maybe its the last outstation trip I had where I had to drive two days with the van's window open all the time, even during the rain. I am not sure. In fact, I should have stopped and listened to my body as it has been showing those subtle signs like:

1) Right ear lobe's (node/nerve) swelling painfully.
2) Sore throat which led to coughing
3) Thick yellow phlegm during coughing
4) Easily tired which leads to mysterious blackouts
5) Loss of apetite and/or taste
6) Irrepressible urge to detonate a Nuclear Bombs

And the monkey is hiding somewhere in the room with me in it

Where is that Monkey?

I know I felt him moments ago. Who else would have stolen a steamroller and ran it over me? Who else would have made a sandpaper sandwich and ram it down my throat while I was snoring?

Where is that monkey?
Maybe its hiding in the room. I'll have to SMS my Boss saying I am sick and put my phones to silent mode. Just in case it frightened the monkey away. I want to catch it and make it eat all my sticky and yellow phlegms.

Where is that monkey?
I know it has been playing drums on my head with thick bamboo sticks when I was sleeping because I just woke up with a huge headache.

Where is that monkey?
I know it tried to disturb my sleep again and again because I kept drifting in and out of reality.

Where is that monkey?
I think it injected me with some paralysing potion and made me sleep again because everyone thought I was dead. Even Kristine and Kaelynn didn't make any sound.

Where is that monkey?
I thought I saw its tail behind that big rock. My body felt as if I had been rolled from head to toe with that boulder. Maybe that monkey has a friend too because it could not have rolled the boulder and stuffed Kaelynn's super absorbent disposable nappies down my throat while I was snoring.

Where is that monkey?
I think it slipped some Chinese Tea in my drink and now I cannot go back to sleep at 0245 in the morning. And I have no idea why I am writing this blog.

OK, thanks guys. This happens to me once a year when things get too hot. Because I was traveling too much, I forgot about drinking lots of water and with tiredness, it was a disaster waiting to happen.
