The Car B

So, let's look at this car a bit more. It has a sunroof and
although its a good idea, in the long run, it is bad. Not
because of decapitated heads but it leaks water when
the rubber seals are worn

I love this part. Where the wheel arch meets with the middle wing

The car's interior is normal, except for the painting on the dash
to make it look brighter. There are no meters or other stuff in there

Looking from the back, it looked nice until you come
to your senses. I mean, exhaust pipes at the sides?
And no rear window wipers?

The car A

Every once in a while you would come across a modified car which literally takes your breath away or just to put it simply, force you to put on a stupid face. But what really caught my attention was the amount of fibreglass used at the rear, which is nice and also, (I think) the owner widened the rear wheels to make sure they match with the fibreglass

This is the car I saw that made me want to go back twice to
take pictures (OK, so it was dark and most of the pictures
came out blurry) again and again

I mean, what kind of an insane person who would do this to his car?
Never mind, whatever the reasons, I would like to have it

And I don't care even if you call me Ah Beng
Just look at it head-on.

I like the front bumper and also the headlights but not the
bonnet top as it looked too squarish.

Trip to Johor

So, instead of meeting new friends at The Outpost, we had to drive all the way to Johor Bahru to install a last minute PBX system. By the time we arrived, it was about 1PM. So, we got down to work without much hitch (yeah, right) until the "extra" cables were actually old cabling which the owner assumed it coul dbe used. Unbeknownst to them, the previous owner has cut all the cables which were buried in the cement. So, we had to wait for them to call on the cabling guy to come over to pull fresh cables.

And since on the previous day they had pulled the first batch of cables, it was left dangling at the walls. Their excuse was that they had worked with us before and it was out responsibility to find those phone jack panels and installed it ourselves. Nevertheless, we were pissed as this was an out an out lie. In their previous jobsite, we only terminated the cabling to the panels while they created more mess by wiring the wrong way. And since there were about more than 20 panels, we wasted time rewiring them. Luckily, fate was on our side because one of the mnagers say how they pulled the cable, he chastised them for not using proper trunking or piping to protect the cables. And he did not let them go nor sign any documentation until I have terminated and tested every cable they have pulled.

Yeah, I took my own sweet time while he stares fire at me. Heahahahahahaha

Ignore him, he's a good guy and just an
innocent bystanbder. Bwahahahaha

Use Yur blain!

So, this driver of a very long trailer thought that he could just
do a quick U-Turn. Instead, his wheels got stuck at the gravel
and we all wasted more time sharing the remaining 5 feet of
space the road

The road to Kepong B

Just after that fun detour, you can see that this part of the
road is also nearing completion. In fact, the road has been
tarred. But there is another problem.......

I guess this is the problem as they had to repair some drainage
or piping of some kind. Everytime they dug the hole, it rained

This is the other side of the road, where you can see them
putting up thr structure for the road signs to tell you
which lane to stick to in case you decided not to

The road to Kepong A

Ever since I had to use this road, it was always jammed up. From Sungei Buloh to my office in Kepong. It was always jammed up. Yeah. The roadworks has been going on since last year (or was that the year before) and you can literally see the road progress metre by metre.

This should be the last steps before the road is open, I guess.
They are building the cement dividers for the overhead bridge
Everyone (involved) is rushing to complete it

The jam is still there, caused by the other end of the overhead
bridge as there is a zig zag detour

Which can be bad when things are bad and could be
worse when things are better. Just slightly in front
is where the dividers stopped and most of the cars
used that to make their own U-turn until post of
that road caved in. So, another jam is there because
of the "Oh-oh, I can't come out of the U-turn" situation

Mawi at the Toll

Ha ha ha! Not really. But he looked like him
Anyhoo..... I am not that happy they are doing this, selling
Touch n Go at the Cash lane. The
car in front was interested,
so, it created a 10
car backlog and we all wasted 7 minutes.

The Crooked Bus

Sorry, I just can't rhyme today with anything crooked
My schedule today must be driving me round the bend

For Kalkamel

Hey, Kal. Look, Kal, Look! I found the other LED box!
Your 3mm green LEDs on the top next to the big 1watt
resistor! You want orange ones too?
Bwahahahah!

Phaser Rifle

Therein lies my dilemma. I wanted to have a Luxeon LED for the rifle's scope but would not create a driver circuit for it (because its expensive and parts are hard to get, OK). So, using the low-tech method with a 1watt resistor, I would have to compensate with a big heatsink........

So, I was at another customer's place where they sell piping
and came across this brass thingy. In the background is the
Luxeon LED temporarily under the collimator lens

It comes in three pieces, (one for your wife/GF if you forgot your present)
But I am going to use the front part although the rear end can lock by
screwing it to the bigger piece. But the collimator lens is too big to fit
into the rear end, thus making it useless. No, I am not going to sand
it to fit either.

There is a small plastic notch on the lens which you can sand it
off. After that, it would be a perfect fit. All you need then, would
be some glue to hold it to the metal.

But the Luxeon would be another matter as I would really have to sand
its heatsink to fit into the metal and also to make sure it is touching it
so that the heat from the LED can transfer over

Or maybe I should just get a larger metal piece. I'll try and go over to my customer's shop tomorrow since it is just literally behind our office.

White Honda

I saw this Honda near my office this evening. It was catchy because of the fibres bolted to it. But somehow, there is something not right about it. Yeah, the rims sucked. Big time

I liked the front bumper design, esp the lower fibre.
I can bet you that he's not going to chase me if i go
over a lot of speed bumps. Ha ha ha ha ha

From the rear, it looked the business, though

Mango Bread

I first bought these Auntie's Delight with the Blueberry and Strawberry buns. Then I saw there is now a Mango roll. So I asked the shopkeeper about the Mango roll and she replied, dunno when he rolled off to.

I am not making sense here. Neither is my action of buying the roll, throwing it in the car and forgot about lunch.

Finders Keepers

Just as I came out from the car on the way to a customer, I noticed someone threw this charger away. My guess is that it is a Nokia Mobile Phone charger or something like that. Its still working though but if I want to test this, I would have to locate a plug for my office's Nokia phone. And if I don't want to use it, well, the clear casing could be used as another prop potential.

Yep, the LED lights up when I plugged it into the car's socket

Overturned Trailer

Thank goodness for an early appointment nearby. By the time I have finished with my customer, it was time to go to the office. Then I noticed a PLUS helicopter flying in circles near the Seafield Toll. And as I entered the hignway............

Yep. If I was there hours ago, this road would be jammed up
nevermind if the trailer overturned on the other side. All the
drivers would have stopped for a looksee and slow everyone
Still, I had to stop and take this photo but could not come out
as there were a lof of car/lorries coming from behind

How it turned, I am not sure but all I know was, this morning
there was no heavy rain at all.

Yet again, my camera was not fast enough to zoom and
focus on this PLUS helicopter. Then again, I was driving

Its in!

Woohoo! I got my salary cheque just now! Woohoo!

Woohoo! Woohoo! Woohoo!

Now, let me pay off my debts for the last 17 days......... Woohoo!

And also my bills.............whooooooo hoo hoo.

And for the girls............whoo.... heh

And for the wife...........whoa

And now for me............wtf?!!!!

I have nothing!

Boohoo! Boohoo! Boohoo! Dammit. I really need to rob a bank of something

Heavy Rain

It was raining heavily when I was trying to get back to the office. Visibility was down to about less than 200 metres. Then, after 15 minutes, it sort of cleared up. But later on, reports all over the Klang Valley showed a clearer picture of how devastating it was.

The stretch from Subang towards Damansara exit

This me about 200m from the Sungai Buloh R&R Bridge

See the white divider on the left, earlier on, its friend
floated away due to the strong currents

Spammed

Dammit! Just got in this morning and found I had so much spam. Almost half the morning was spent on clearing the damn thing. Where did I pick it up? I am not sure either.

1401 spam! and its coming in 3-5 every minute now

This is the latest tactic but I was wise to it because I seldom E-Mail
when it is absolutely necessary

Yeah, right.

Phaser Rifle

I forgot to bring this Phaser Rifle prototype for Dr. EMH to see. Everything is almost ready but there are a bit more details which will take more time. I will update this details in my website.

This is the rifle on stanby, but with a Power setting of 14

This is the rifle being fired (from my fingers)

Just something to tell you, this is a prototype for the
Polar Lights 1/350 scale Enterprise NX-01 Model kit

Hot Sunday

Yesterday was a scorcher and now I am sick. Still despite the heat, Kristine insists on playing with her bike and also her favourite toy.

Daddy, its hot!

What did I forget now, Daddy?

Oh, I see, my shoes!

Now I got them, but I am too tired to ride anymore

Booger alert

I was bathing Kristine and all way well until I saw something up her nostrils. After some attempts, I managed to get it out and when we saw it, it was amazing. Yes, she has a running nose and all the yellow stuff dripped down and solidified in her nostrils. Usually, if I had something like this up my nose, it would be hard to ignore and also very painful to pull it out since it would have hardened and stick to my nose hairs.

For Kristine, it was still wet, (I think its a 2 day old booger) and so, here is it, for all of you to see.

And this is just only my little pinkie. If it was scaled to adult size,
it could be a little close to 2cm.

Going to the dumps

This is Kepong's Enterpreneurs Park. For all I care, its just a light industrial area. And guess what? There are no proper place for rubbish collection. And slowly, its going to be a dumping ground.

Months ago, someone dumped this car because they could not drive it up to the kerb and park under the tree.

This is because every tree is an unofficial site for everyone to dump their rubbish. The trucks would come and pick them up when you least expect them.

And just last week Saturday, someone hoped the truck would come nearer to get rid of this bike

100 pieces of light

OK, just as I have suspected, this Honkie went and delivered my parcel to my house address despite me telling them not to. So, after more than a week, did I managed to go back to my house and retrieve the "Hee hee hee. Serves you right for not being here so I left this card for you to hike your lazy ass to the Post Office" card.

100 pieces of 3mm white LEDs for the Polar Lights
Star Trek Enterprise NCC1701A project

The blue VIOS

Just saw this Blue Toyota VIOS in Bangsar. At first, it looked nice because of the rims and also the darkened area at the rear. But once I went through it again, well......... OK la. But the style does not fit it well, except in the front. Looking at it now, reminds me of the pregnant goldfish, aka the Honday City. C'mon, you can do better than that.

This was the angle which caught my eye, because it was parked illegally at the corner

But the rear look the business, especially the double exhaust

And I always liked the hole under the bonnet style.
Now, where is the huge inter-cooler radiators you
see on turbo-charged cars? The four square holes
could do with some nice spotlights too.

OK, so there is no turbo on this car, just your normal NA
But his cold air intake pipe is broken, though
