ICW 14052011

ICW is a nice place...

ICW is a nice place...

ICW is a nice place...

This is starting to get very strange. ICW is really out of the way from my house and yet, my brain is telling me that, by just driving Vee-Chai over, it is a very convenient place afterall. Because if I were to walk there, it might just take me about over three hours, as stated by Google Maps. And a pair of new walking shoes too.

The usual suspects were, as usual, at
their usual places, usually doing things
that are, well, unusually usual to them.

Then I noticed the unusually
large amount of stocks which
is usually not a lot.

Anyway, the reason I came was to take some photos
of my two De Loreans. This is so that I can post some
pictures of the differences between the two cars.

And so, here it is. Once I have the time and the
sanity, I will post them up in my website. Yes,
my WEBSITE, not my BLOG.

Eurggh

Add some natural lighting and this is what
always greeted me when the girls do not
finish their meals. Just this one, I actually
lost my appetite... because it reminds me
of sliced leech and eel sashimi with pickled
salmon strips (OK, so they don't exist)

Vee-Chai is dirty

When I bought Vee-Chai, I wanted a white car. This was because, in my mind, if you wanted to get a small car, it has to be white. Not because it makes it look cuter (which it already does) but so that it is visible most of the time.

This has been proven in my own research years ago where I pretend not to notice any white cars on the road. And despite my best efforts to ignore them, they can be seen all the time. However, this is not the same with darker cars and hence, the accidents that ensued with the Bengmobile I. If you do not believe me, here is another example. Look at people whose faces are white. No, not those Clowns or Mimes, but those with tons of make-up. Even desperate bachelors would avoid them like the Plague the moment they stepped into the room.

From this picture, you can tell that I am
secretly wishing for a grey car.

Which is very soon if I do not wash Vee-Chai

The Lunch before Melaka

I was hungry and there is a long trip ahead of me.
So, I decided to have this plate of rice with lots of
*ahem* carbo. why? I also do not know. Because
if I dd, I would have just taken a banana and then
washed it down with a can of Cokey Coley.

Beads

There is this project that I am thinking about and well, instead of boring you to death about the theories, I am going straight to the point: I want to make some drop bombs. Well, there is no other words to describe it. Ths project is supposed to fly around and well, drop some droppings which is fatal for the targets below.

And so, I decided to try to make some, using
beads that is meant for making necklaces. I
got the white ones in Kepong while the green
and the round ones are from Art Friend at
The
Gardens.

Yes, its very small. Years ago, I would
not have any problems with them.

Anyway, this is what it looks like, and
well, its more like the AIDS virus.... :-O

My antenna

Sometimes, people often wonder how I can be so 'update' or knowledgeable on certain subject or people. Well, to tell you the truth, I am not. Its just that information comes to me at the right time or just by coincidence. But no, they do not believe me. So, how to convince them that I am not psychic or something.

Aha! I have it!

Ta-da! My 'antenna*'
(or just plain booger with white hair)

Over here, when people say, "Wah, your antenna very long, eh?" it means, You know a lot of things or to be exact you are very 'update' about people/gossip.

Kaelynn Reading

We are making sure that Kaelynn can read books because reports from her teacher said otherwise. And so, it is my job to make sure she can read.

When possible, she needs to read
even
before she can sleep.

And read even after dinner.

That is, if I can remember to make sure she reads... bad parent.

I give you 1 more chance!

OK! Since the last time, you charged me the normal
rate of RM4.00, I will give you one more chance!!!

WTF! You gave me those awful yellow noodles and
just a few prawns for RM4.50!!!

Silence! I keel you!
Ow! Ow! Ow! Stop it with the spatula already!

Sleeping cat

The way the cat lay on the street,
I thought it was dead but actually,
I took this picture because it was,
at that time, funny.

And also, because I had a can of Sarsi,
I wanted to lob it into the basket and
'gently' wake the cat up. Somehow, I
missed and it fell next to the cat and
no, it did not jump up or anything. It
just stirred with a, 'Yawn, whassup?'

Sorry I disturbed your siesta, cat.

Suzuki

This is a Suzuki. Or so I was led to believe. It is
a very cute van and if I were to get one, I would
be worrying on its fuel consumption and noise.
But then, it is such a beautiful cute van. I cannot
admit I love it in case those within earshot might
grab me and throw me to the nearest facility for
mental misfits.

Mid Valley Fountain

This is the Mid-Valley fountain which captivated a lot
of shoppers. Just today, I happened to pass by and it
was under maintenance. Now I know why I did not
let the girls jump into it. Not because I was afraid
there could be some piranhas in there...

Anyway, after finishing my business. I decided to drop in on JayaJusco for its Assam Laksa. But this time, I decided to go for the Chicken Nasi Lemak which I enjoyed so many years ago. Unfortunately, I think they have changed the vendor and apart from the crispy anchovies, stay away from the sambal and well, almost everything. It was such a gastronomic nightmare, the only words I could utter about the quality and taste, if I could, were some choice words about their mothers and female reproductive parts.

Friday night

Its Friday night and as promised by someone, they can stay with my Parents instead of Saturday night.

When it came to moving the matress,
the girsl were suddenly very 'helpful'.

Everything is ready but they can't go until
Kristine finishes her homework first.

Happy Dad's day

Although its still early, Kaelynn made a present
for me. Is a rocket. Sadly, after a few days, it's
gone... someone threw it away....

Saturday Night Dinner

Yum-yum. I love these coleslaw on top
of the fish burger. No, really.

ICW 07052011

I was at ICW today but instead of the quite atmosphere of people working on their models, the place was occupied by members from another Forum, conducting a modeling competition...

Yep. Gundams. My interest is reflected
in the number of words typed here...

One of the lucky winners...

ICW even has a photo booth for you
to well, take photos, of course. That
reminds me, I need to rebuild mine.

Got this from ray. Why?
Can't tell you yet.

The Empire

First time I was at The Empire, Subang. What struck me was the three storey human chute.

Wow. This is going to make taking out the garbage, fun again. No more walking barefoot on sharp pebbles in the dark and tripping over the cat/car/snake/ants....

Oh, shit!

I am sure you have this experience sometime in your life. If you're lucky, you can count it with your hand. Otherwise, every morning is Hell for you and Heaven for NTPM* and the likes.

It was just like any other morning for me. And just a few steps out of Vee-Chai, the warning signs came on thick and fast. I was both happy and cursing at the same time. Happy because I have not had this experience since my childhood** and cursing because there were more than 100 steps to safety. And I have to make haste because these precious steps cannot be wasted. One misstep means a difference of a few centimetres.

So, I did my best brisk walk while making sure my butthole is tightly shut. But, Ladies and Gentlemen, as you would know by now, what goes in must come out. By now, with more than 30 steps and a staircase in my way, the chocolate is already wrenching the butt open. The little bugger is coming out bit by bit with every little step. And even if I do not want to walk, I can feel it inching out, like a snail. By this time, I realised that I was unconsciously trying to walk like a penguin.

A proud penguin to be exact. You know how a penguin walks, right? Same thing but this time, it leaned forward, to show its chest while the butt lags behind like a trailer being towed. And that was how I walked because its already halfway at the opening, there is no more space for you to stand upright. Because if you did, your butt muscles would have to work harder to support your back. Which also means going hard and squeeze the heck out of that chocolate. I am sure you have seen what closing tomb doors do to bad guys in the movies...

Once I cleared the stairs, I was overjoyed, its as if a thousand penguins flew off an iceberg (Of course penguins can't fly but you get my drift.). Yep, I suddenly realised that the chocolate I have made is dry. How did I know this? Because its hanging by my underpants and my butt feels dry. So, as I made my final steps to the seat, I was grateful that my pants were not loose. It would be very uncomfortable to feel part of your ex-body parts swinging like a pendulum.

Finally, the chocolate safely disposed off. The slush
came after. Thank goodness I do not have to go
back home for another pair

**Moral of the story: Force yourself to shit in the morning even if you have nothing down there**

Vee-Chai's Radio

Aw, hewck. This is the fifth time the radio reset
itself. I have to retune all the Radio's channels.
Luckily, I am using my n8's Bluetooth to play
all my songs but well, I just want the channels
to be there when I want them. And, oh, so was
the clock. I am beginning to suspect loose memory
battery connection or something like that.

Tziplee

Bruce wanted a set of 1/150 scale models and the only place I could think of, was, Tziplee. I have searched other places such as in Kepong and The Gardens but this was the only place left. And so, I got it for him.

RM10.00 for this lot, plus a few decapitated
one as well. Yes, they are very fragile. Just
look at their size.

Then, I spotted these magnets which, well,
looked like potential kit-bash material.

The ones on the left was RM3.00 for five
and the other was RM2.50 for five.

I had to pick the best of the lot as most of
them had the plastic lens fogged up. If you
are thinking about The Matrix's Morpheus's
Nebuchadnezzar, its very close. I wonder
how it would look when lit....

RT Pastry@Danau Desa

While I was out, someone pointed me to this shop which sells wonderful cakes. New York Marble Cheese Cake, to be exact. I am not familiar with this place but after some searching, I came to an almost Deja-vu like state because it was the shop I always passed by when I was there. But then again, at that time, I was busy working my ass off. Then again, I am always working my ass off anyway.

Anyway, when I entered, the shop, it was slightly different due to its dimmer than usual lighting. Only their shelves were brightly lit. Which is great because, immediately, your eyes would go straight to the shelves and shelves of cakes. This effect was so subtle and yet, if you turn your head away too fast, your eyes might pop out. And, oh, these cakes are very different; both in taste and well, beauty.

Forget Breadstory and the likes. These cakes
are beautiful and delicious on its own.

This is well, immediately, on of my favs,
which is garlic bread of some kind. At first,
I thought it was garlic but once I tasted it,
it was wonderful! There was another cake
I bought but did not take pictures of. It just
looked like an ordinary loaf but once you
cut a slice, its actually cheese and pepper
on the outside and ham on the inside. Wow.

Yeah, OK, so this is the 0.5Kg cake everyone
was talking about. Because I ordered through
phone, they thought it was for a Birthday and
so, I get all the 'free' stuff. Hee hee.

So, would I go back there again. Certainly. That is, if I can find a parking space as this area is notorious for double-parked cars and on some streets, some very dangerous tire eating potholes too.

Sometimes, I cannot explain this

You have two great Golfers and then, you have
a tired motorcyclist. I'm stumped. Am I having
a Blogger's Block? Hmmm?

The pacifying

Kaelynn knows I am upset because she cut her hair. She knows its wrong to do it but for her, I think, was a great idea at that time. I mean, she had a problem of her bangs being to long which irritates her eyes and this was her solution. Well, it was a great solution but everyone wished she had consulted some adults first.

I was tired and laid on the floor.
She came in and tried to cheer
me up by massaging my back
and then play with the windmill.

OK. I know she is trying her
best, so I just gave her some
'face' and joined in the fun.
But I am still upset. Well,
still a
little less upset...

My Left Toe

Just took out more nail than I should and it
bled the whole night. Did not notice until I
looked down 24 hours later, wondering
why it was 'itchy' and stinging. Ouch.

Kaelyn DIY cut

As I came home today, I noticed a clump of hair.
And through experience, this means bad news.

Yep, the culprit was Kaelynn who
took it to herself to cut her own
bangs.

Her excuse was that they were too
long and it bothered her eyes....

Bombs in the Mail

In light of the recent events in Pakistant, words such as Osama, bombs, etc. became very sensitive. And alas, it was also the same time that I 'won' a set of used model kits which, by coincidence, were bombs. And they costs me only RM0.01. I was not worried about it until I realised that they were due to arrive this week...

So, when the Receptionists asked what it was,
I just replied, "samples". You'd think I would
say, "Bombs"?

This was the same model kit I had when I was
a kid. IN fact, I still could not recall what had
happened to them AFTER I left for college.

Not sure what this was called but because of its
shape, it was my favourite and I akways did
carry one of them around in my pockets every
where I went.

Goggles

I know safety goggles protects your eyes but I have
never seen it enhance your eyes....

Petai for lunch

I mean, hey, they're getting expensive now and for
RM7.00 for this meal (plus drinks), its worth it.
