The New Peugeot NG

Peugeot seems to be making inroads lately and this is very evident on the streets. However, based on experienced, especially with the sexy and elegant 405 in the 90's, I'd steer clear away from the brand despite their new designs which, is very tempting. Even in the local car Forums, there were a lot of stories about them breaking down. Stories which I just read and try to forget.

And as for the 'NG'? It stands for 'No-go'.

And so, this morning, a bunch of young Sales execs came, to collect their stuff and as they're about to leave, the car decided it wanted to stay a little bit longer, days if possible.

Finally, with no other choice, the sweet looking owner had to call for outside help. So sad.

08122012 Breakfast

OK, for this mornin'g breakfast, I DIY from last night's leftovers. And I tell you, I love these cabbages, especially when they're fried with the yellow stuff and green chilies.

Nom om nom nom

Kuih Teo Chew

Remember the Kuih Teo Chew i discovered sometime ago? Well, I am going back today. This was because the guy in the van passed me his namecard and, well, it said they have a stall inside the SS2 Food Court....
(OK, OK, so I don't even want to ask why they're in the van the other day)

At the Food Court, you just walk to the middle and  then look for stall #18. Its really easy.

If you do not know where it is, just look for this signboard.

The Kuih Teo Chew comes in three flavours and the price, well, its OK, I guess, for such delicious little pieces of wonderment.

It comes in three flavours: Turnip (best), Kuchai ('kow choi' vege) and Yam (erm....)

I had called him up earlier because of the large order; one for the company and one for tonight's event. By the time I have arrived, he was almost 75% done. Yes, he needs to steam them before serving.

This is the second time I have ever seen a large polystyrene box.
Trust me on this: They are delicious.
Try all three as well. The most popular by far was the Turnip which is crunchy followed by the Kuchai which because its vege, is starting to be my favourite. As for the Yam, well, its like eating paste. It gets some using to because at the end of the day, if the first two ran out, you just have to yam it into your mouth.... ha ha.
